Absolutely. You can’t just say, “no, you’re wrong.” You have to find a way to explain why, AND provide a new and palatable philosophy to adopt, AND if one neighbor, friend or relative disagrees, there’s no point.
The only solutions are uniting catastrophes, or educational and generational overhauls. But the first can (and probably will) backfire and we don’t have the time, resources, or even interest in the second. No one on the top rungs WANTS this base to overcome their abusive ways or start thinking clearly. They’ll lose their power!
But what do I know? I’m a late bloomer who didn’t drive a tractor until I was nine.
