Jess, your story is phenomenal and wrenching. I’m not sure I understand the entire nuance of it or why a smart person like you left herself SO vulnerable to… well… everyone involved. Surely there’s *some* legal recourse with *some* compassionate attorney who will work on contingency to find your financial justice.
