The global climate issue is a financial issue that starts at the top with the greedy “leaders” requiring more. More unsustainable profits (less profit is somehow deemed failure?!). More energy at the cheapest price no matter the consequence (oil & coal). With 57 empty apartments for every homeless US citizen and no way out of future debt for our youngsters, with a .001% of the world holding 99% of the power over how our resources, including plastics, are sourced and used and disposed of, the pyramid has finally poked the sky.

But I do what I can with my cans and bottles and your article is insightful on how I can do even a wee itty bit more.
